Credit counseling?*
My debt is getting out of control and I need to do something about it. I'm considering giong to a credit counselor but am afraid they are all sheisters. Can anybody recommend a place to research them?
Answers:
1) well, you could try goin to google and type it in or stop back on using your dept card. put it up in a save place and when you go out use cash if you don't have cash then that means you don't need to buy it
2) Call the Better Business Bureau and they will be able to direct you to a good agency to help
3) http://www.novadebt.org/office_locations.taf please try this website. I am currently on their plan and they have been incredibly responsible and amazingly productive. Remember, if you you don't need it don't buy it...if you don't have cash to buy it ...you can't afford it. that's my new mentality. Good luck!
4) Pioneer is good. I have 2 friends who used them and they are both very happy with the outcome
5) The system that I use for my students is a 3 stage approach- - reducing interest rates which lowers your monthly payment - education -elimiating your existing debt in the shortest amount of time. This is not credit counseling- and this system will increase your credit score. feel free to contact me Courtney Kostelecky founder DebtFreeNews.com
