Equifax is reporting to credit pullers that I have 2 Social Security #s?*

But when I order my report from Equifax, it only shows that I have ONE SS #. As a result of Equifax reporting 2 different SS#'s with my name, I am being declined in opening a bank account. 1. How can I get this resolved so Equifax only reports I have 1 SS#? I wrote to them but they only sent me a form letter, without addressing my concern 2. Do I have a case against Equifax for continuing to report that I have 2 SS#s associated with my name, after I contacted them with my correct single SS #? I already included a letter from the SS office when I wrote to Equifax

Answers:

1) there is no 'case'...just send them a letter asking them to correct it.

2) there is no 'case'...just send them a letter asking them to correct it.

3) you will probably have to provide a letter from the soc seciurity admin.
