What is the best company to order credit reports from?*
Attention credit gurus. A consumer is supposed to be able to get one free credit report. But when I tried to order, the co. puts up an agreement that forces you into monthly credit report monitoring for a monthly fee, this before they give you the "free" report, So what is the best way to get the 3 credit reports.
Answers:
1) About order credit reports can be read in http://the-net-usa.blogspot.com/?q=order%20credit%20reports
2) You can get trans union and experian and monitor them for free, I just found an article about it the other day.
3) No doubt its the one that has all three credit bureaus on them. Because if you dont do that you might have a problem when you apply for a loan or credit card in the future and the company you apply to uses another credit bureau than the one you have been monitoring. My 2 cents is to use a 3 in one service. I use one for just 14.95 and they give you one month free so you can just sign up get the report cancel and then check back in a few months time, hey thats what I do Just go to http://justcardoffers.com/ and look for the Equifax Credit Report link and take it from there... Best of luck!
4) www.AnnualCreditReport.com is the only place that you will get your credit reports for free once a year. No credit card required nor a need to sign up to anything.
5) The three nationwide consumer reporting companies are using one website, one toll-free telephone number, and one mailing address for consumers to order their free annual report. To order, click on annualcreditreport.com, call 1-877-322-8228, or complete the Annual Credit Report Request Form and mail it to: Annual Credit Report Request Service, P.O. Box 105281, Atlanta, GA 30348-5281. The form is at the back of this brochure; or you can print it from ftc.gov/credit.
6) Equafax
