Quicken Loans?
I have been pre-approved for a small home loan. At the time the loan man said I would need 1600 at closing. Today another lady called and said Id need 2900?!? Also they said Id need at least 4120 in my account. This happen to anyone b4?

1) Yes, and STAY AWAY FROM QUICKEN LOANS!!!!! They are bad bad bad. They will promise you a fixed rate, but in the breakdown of your loan they will show you a disclosure legal thing that will probably make little sense to you now. If the breakdown shows something like 3 years at the first payment, then another three years at a different payment, then another 3 years at a different payment, it is a 3 year ARM loan, on top of another 3 year ARM loan on top of another 3 year ARM loan. I don't remember what the term in the mortgage industry is but BEWARE. They will take your money and your house. Same with Countrywide, and ditech.com. When shopping for the best mortgage, try to find a simple interest mortgage instead of a scheduled interest mortgage. I know that CITI Group offers a simple interest loan. Just be careful.
