what is the best credit card in the philippines?*

is Citibank credit card good? is BPI express credit card good?

Answers:

1) With poor credit it become difficult for you to get a credit card. Then the lenders ask for some cosigner. But if you don't have like that you can try online and you will get one. Try to get some cards with low apr rate and some reward programs like cash back discount.Discover have some cards with 0% intro apr and also some rewards like 5% cash back on certain purchase. 2) Pros Citibank and BPI: - annual fee for the first year may be waived (or depending on the promo) ** Citibank ** Pros - usually gives a higher credit limit. - interest free days if you pay the total amount due on/or before your due date - will mail you an ATM pin to allow you cash advance transactions (for BPI, you will have to go to a branch or kiosk and apply for/activate this feature) Cons - the most annoying customer service teams this side of the planet; there's those marketing calls/msgs/emails/mails that you'll always get and the bothersome collections officers that keeps calling you to remind you to pay your bill days before your due date (and expect more calls if you missed your due date!) **BPI** Pros - if you're an average employee with an average income (assuming of good credit standing) you have a bigger chance of getting approved. - a lot of affordable SIP (0% interest installment plans) promotions; appliances, gadgets even travel! Cons - credit limit is lower compared to Citibank - no interest free days If you ask me, i now only have my BPI credit card! the calls from citi really did it for my patience. hope this helps.
