If I close my credit card, its been in good standing, will the history of it stay on credit report?*

Answers:

1) it wont' affect your score but it is bad if you had the card for a long time because it wont' show it anymore and it looks good to creditors to see that you've had a credit card for a long time (it shows stability)

2) Yes, the history will stay on your report, open or closed.

3) Yes. the record will stay on your bureau for 7 years and will show R1 status.
