I screwed badly, I have $7,000 USD in debt with my Credit Card and no money to pay it back...?*

Credit Card has been cancelled, and I receive a lot of calls from Colection Agency ... what can I do?

Answers:

1) Get a second job and pay it back.

2) yeah...your screwed badly.

3) MAKE YOUR MINIMUM PAYMENTS!! As long as you do this, they won't call you. You can even arrange with the agency the amount of the minimum payment per month. Get used to making these payments and every once & a while, increase it to whatever you can afford per month. It seems like a lot, but it will get paid off quick if you do this and more importantly - if you stick to it. BTW: Credit card dept isn't the worst thing in the world, most people have it. $7,000 really isn't that much - it could be worse.

4) Start living you live within means ~ don't spend more than you have . . . do what ever necessary (at this point) to pay the credit card off as soon as possible. The interest isn't pretty

5) get another job, you have to pay for your mistakes

6) start working your butt off. i took a temporary nanny job, not because it made the most money or anything, but it was the one I could get the fastest. then, since I have my days free, I started petitioning (you get paid $1+ per signature). I didnt expect to stay in a new town for a month and find a second job, but i did, instead of sitting around. yeah im super tired at the end of the day, but instead of making $300/week, I'll be making more like $400-500/week

7) Make as much of a payment as you can per month, even if you cancelled the card, they are coming after you from money you borrowed from them, and its hurting your credit you not paying them. Please don't go to some debt consolidation place, in most cases that hurts your credit more... The credit card company will eventually work out a payment plan with you that you can afford, because they want thier money. You are going to continue getting calls, because you borrowed money as i said....Start making some headway on those payments before they take it a step further... They're being pretty nice right now just by calling you... Make the minimum payment (usually 10$) per month, or more if you can...to show that you are trying. Next time you get a credit card, get a low limit set and use it as like gas for your car, and pay it off in full each month, that will help your credit once you get the first one fixed.

8) Either pay your minimum charge plus 10% or stop making all payments and start saving up your money on the side. When you have about $2000 saved up you can contact the credit card and make an offer of settlement for less than you owe. It is a one time payment in exchange for the CC company to drop all collection against you and "chargeoff" the other money you owe. If you don't want to do that, you call call Consumer Credit Counseling http://www.debtsteps.com/consumer-credit-counseling.html to help you structure a plan to gt out of debt. Recognizing your mistake is important now it's time to fix it. Best of luck!

9) You should take on a second job and make you minimum payment if you can if you cant just send them what you can afford. If the above are to complicated then I think you should file for Bankruptcy.

10) pay it back? you could either get a debt consolidation loan and put that card together with some other debts. That way your intrest rate will be lower as well as the repayment amount. You should also start working more or sell some things you dont need. it can get very nasty if you dont pay and can potentially ruin your credit rating

11) 1. Live on less than you earn 2. Stop playing online and go to work. In the words of Dave Ramsey, "the best place to go when you're broke is work."
