Answers:
1) Everybody I know got a letter. As long as you did your taxes this year you will get the money for sure. Electronic debit will be before something like march 14th and paper checks no later than like july 11th. Not positive but it is within a few days. It all goes by the last 2 digits of you social.
2) Don't worry. There is still enough time to receive the letter for your self too. Just give it about the first week of May 2008 to receive the letter. If not, you may still get a check, it's possible just because there are so many people in the U.S. that the IRS is sending letters to, so it takes time and patience to send letters to each individual. I received my letter a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't even expecting it. So just give it some time, if your skeptical or anxious just go to the IRS website contact them via email or phone, or even a simple formal letter. If you do write a letter make sure it's certified and 'return service requested'. So just give me them a call and see what's up. I hope this helps and good luck. Don't forget to rate my answer!
3) Go to irs.gov. There is a rebate check calculater that will tell you if you will recieve a check and if so for how much. Make sure you have your tax info available though
4) just get the paper and fill it out.its a 1040A tax form but better hurry deadline is idnight tomorrow.you dont have to have gotten a letter nor do you have to have had a earned income.my husbands a disabled veteran and were getting it.
