Question:
I bank with Lloyds TSB and currently work abroad, they have just increased the charge for withdrawing abroad..
to £4 a time!! And they have even backdated this and charged me over £50. Can they actually do this? £4 per withdrawal is extreme.
Answers:
1) It's time to change banks.
2) It does seem rather high, i remember drawing cash abroad in Greece and getting charged 6.00 for every hundred, that was steep. do a bit of digging because i am sure that a bank has said or i read it they will not charge their customers for withdrawing money abroad.
3) Change to Nationwide, they do not charge anything abroad.
