Can someone add debt to an existing bankruptcy file?*
My friend (not anymore) borrowed money from me. Later she has filed for bankruptcy but hasn't included her debt to me in it. Now when i ask money she is telling she will add me to it and will not owe me anything.
is it possible to add a debt after filing bankruptcy?
Note: the money was borrowed a year before she filed but the debt was not included when filed.
Answers:
1) in certain cases the court will allow an amendment to the filing -- if you have written proof she owes you the money take her to small claims court!!!
2) If she loaned it on a FRIEND basis she still owes you the money. You cant file bankruptcy to cover friend loans.
3) Hi, I used "Credit Solution" to settle my debt and recover from bankruptcy. They managed to reduce my debt up to 58%.It's legitimate.I came across this company on NBC News Special Edition.Check it out here: http://redirx.com/?0g4c
