whats the lowest amount you can pay on a card in a corner shop eg. cost-cutters?*
Answers:
1) usually £5.00
2) what ??? make sense
3) a fiver usually - well it is in costcutter.
4) Mine is a tenner . Wouldn't dream of offering a card for less than that. Why people don't always have £20 or £30 in their pocket, I don't know... Even a guy at Dartford Tunnel paying toll of £1 by card,,, ridiculous,,,
5) It completely depends on them. It is possible to pay any amount in theory, however as they get charged a small amount for card purchases, some places dont seem it valuable to allow people to pay on card for small items. your better off asking them what their policy is. I once paid for a hamburger in mcdonalds on my card for 79p :D
6) The nearest one to me has no lower limit but adds 50 pence to the bill. The one around the corner is a £5 minimum.
7) I would say a fiver.
