How do I know of I have bad credit?*

So I only have 600 dollars left to pay on my card (which only got to 1200 to begin with) and I'm almost caught up on my cell phone bill. Only have 75 dollars to pay. I've always made some kind of payment on the credit card and lately, I've been throwing my whole checks on the card.

Answers:

1) if u gotta ask, u got bad credit -

2) You can pay to get a copy of your fico score, go to myfico.com. Or, if you don't want to pay, get a copy of your credit report for free at annualcreditreport.com. (When you go there, they will try to sell you stuff, but you don't need to buy anything. Look for the document connected to the FACTACT free credit report). If you have delinquencies reported on there that show bills unpaid for 60 days in arrears, chances are your credit score is low. On the good side, if you paid at least the minimum amount due each month, and didn't have arrears greater than 30 days, chances are your score is very good. If you are in the market for a loan (buying a car, etc) then it is a good idea to review your credit report first and make sure it is accurate. The ways to boost a low score are: Don't close out any accounts - the older your history the better. Keep outstanding balances below 50% of the available credit limit. Pay everyone at least the minimum due each month on time. Don't borrow from payday lenders and household finance kind of lenders - they are seen as lenders of last resort. Finally, if you have a parent or someone with a great credit score, you can ask them to have you listed as an "authorized user" on one of their accounts. They don't have to give you a card (so you can't charge anything on their account), but it reports you as part of that card on the credit report, allowing you to piggyback on their great score.

3) go to bank. and ask them to run your SS# they will show you, your report............FREE, you can't take it with you, but you can see it anytime you want too!

4) Order your credit reports, its free. https://ssl.myhostcenter.com/www.romanfigures.com/credit.htm
