Relief from a car loan....?*
If you co-sign for a car, and you need to get rid of the car, and the loan, how can you go about doing this without simply caving in and going through a repossession? In this case, a "take over payments" is not feasable.
Answers:
1) sell the car for the amount you owe
2) try to have the principal signer to refinance without you.
3) The only way to do this is to get someone else to buy the car and get it financed or cash out other then that if you cant afford it then there is no other choice other then to give it back it will be called a volunteer repo it will still hurt your credit the bad thing to is the one you co-singned for it doesnt hurt there credit as bad good luck I've had good luck here... http://auto.deal4-you.com All the best to you.
