Is there a time limit for payments on eBay?*

All i want to know is when you purchase an item on eBay if there is a certain time period you have to pay the seller. Can someone tell me?

Answers:

1) Depends on the seller. Most auctions will tell when they are expecting payment, like, payment in 7 days, etc.

2) Usually it reads in the auction, how long you have time to pay for the item.

3) If you sell on ebay, it is your responsibility to know this already. Go to ebay and look up "unpaid item" and it will outline time frames and when you can file a report for an unpaid item.

4) It is 7 days. Then you can file an unpaid item. (if your the seller). I always send an email to the buyer first and see if they are planning to pay me. If I get no response after 48 hrs I notify of an unpaid item. If the 7 days is up. Although, most people pay within 48 hours.
