Personal injury and an old bankruptcy?*

If a person had a bankruptcy and has completed the payment plan and it was discharged, 7 years ago, and now has a personal injury settlement for sex abuse that happened to them as a child by a priest, are they required to pay all of their old debts that were discharged in the old bankruptcy? Or, if they have to repay some, are there only certain types of debts they would have to repay (government loans, secured debts, etc.?)
