Do I have to pay for having a credit card?*
Say if i get a credit card and NEVER use it at all; Will I still get some kind of bill asking me to pay for it?
Are there any fees for having a credit card? Can't I just have it for emergencies and have it around just-in-case and not pay a dime unless i use it?
Answers:
1) Just get a card that does not have an annual fee or startup fee. All the the major credit cards are free as long as there is a $0.00 balance.
2) Not if you don't use it.
3) Most cards you do not have to pay any fees unless you use it and carry a balance. Some cards now have an annual fee. You just have to be aware of what you are applying for when you go to look for a card.
